I never saw myself this way ...

When I first met Sandy, I was in awe about her shining personality and incredible dance moves.... Turns out, one day I would call her my sister-in-law. And I am so proud of her in many ways. She's talented, smart and still has that beautiful smile I saw 10 years ago....

Over the years I would hear her say, I don't think I can do this, or thats not me, I can't- but ironically- everything she said she wouldn't be able to do - SHE DID! She embraced every challenge with strength, she kept moving, sometimes it didn't work, but she kept moving.. She knew she had to keep moving not only for herself but for her handsome son.

He makes her laugh, he brings out the best in her and he reminds her of how strong she is. there is a vulnerability that comes with being a mother, but being a mother also comes with doing the impossible, becoming a doctor, a comforter, a friend, a super hero or simply put- MOM! I wanted to remind her of that strength and confidence. Sometimes the saying- seeing is believing truly does come into effect. Tell me if you see the beautiful woman I see....
